Start Date:
Mar 22, 2021Duration: 2 weeks
I will try to wake up at an earlier time and make this a consistent habit every day. After I wake up, I will make my bed and meditate for 10 minutes. Then I will wash my face, get dressed, and have a nutritious breakfast. I will then make a list of my daily tasks and allocate a reasonable period of time to spend on each one. I will incorporate at least 30 minutes of exercise into my day. Before bed, I will do a skincare routine and catch up on some reading.
I am taking up this personal challenge because I tend to become overwhelmed and shut down when I lack a sense of consistency in my daily activities. The next few weeks are going to be intense with school work, and it is generally a busy time of year for everyone, so I think it is important to develop and maintain an achievable routine for the mind and body. I am excited to form my new habit because I think it will help me stay on track, boost my morale, and improve my overall well-being. I believe it is important to support Canadian mental health as this is something that impacts everyone's quality of life, and therefore, it needs to be maintained and taken care of. I want to help encourage others to thrive because I know the current state of the world and the ways our lives have changed as a result of it can have negative affects on our mental health. It is common to feel like we are reliving the same day all the time, and we become susceptible to feeling discouraged, unmotivated, or stressed. We are seeing more people falling through the cracks and suffering as time goes on and the situation persists. Creating and sticking with a new, healthy, consistent habit can potentially lift a weight off our shoulders and give us a sense of normality in a time of uncertainty.
This challenge has no habit updates yet.
